UNGANI OS — Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules for using UNGANI OS (the "Platform"). It applies to all Clients, their staff, and any other authorized users of the Platform. This Policy works alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Acceptable Use
Users of UNGANI OS agree to use the Platform only for legitimate business operations, consistent with the purpose of tracking and organizing their own business's money records, assets, tasks, staff, and documents.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Unauthorized access: Attempt to access, view, or modify another Client's data, accounts, or systems without authorization.
- System interference: Attempt to disrupt, overload, hack, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of UNGANI OS or its underlying infrastructure.
- Fraudulent use: Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent business records with intent to deceive UNGANI, another party, or a regulatory/financial institution.
- Illegal activity: Use the Platform to facilitate, record, or support any activity that is illegal under Kenyan law.
- Unauthorized sharing of credentials: Share login credentials in a way that circumvents user limits defined by a Client's subscription package, or that allows unauthorized individuals to access the Platform.
- Excessive automated access: Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to access the Platform in a way not explicitly authorized by UNGANI.
- Harmful content: Upload documents, images, or content that is defamatory, obscene, infringes on intellectual property rights, or violates the rights of any third party.
- Reselling access: Resell, sublicense, or provide access to UNGANI OS to any party outside the registered Client's own business, without UNGANI's written consent.
4. Staff and Multi-User Accounts
- Clients are responsible for the conduct of any staff members they invite to their UNGANI OS account.
- Clients must promptly deactivate staff accounts for employees who no longer require access (e.g. upon termination of employment).
- Clients must not exceed the user limits of their subscribed package by sharing single accounts among multiple individuals.
5. Data Accuracy
While UNGANI OS is a tool for organizing business data, users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter. UNGANI is not responsible for business decisions made based on inaccurate data entered by a Client or their staff.
6. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this Policy may result in:
- A warning and request to remedy the behavior
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of account access, without refund of prepaid fees
- Where applicable, referral to relevant law enforcement authorities
UNGANI reserves the right to determine, at its discretion, whether a violation of this Policy has occurred, and to take appropriate action.
